Instructions
Click on "New Game" to start. Choose whether you want to play against the
computer (One Player) or against another player (Two Player). Fill in your name. If you're playing
against the computer, choose the level (easy, medium, or hard) by clicking on the
arrows. When you're done, click confirm. Then select the size and color of the "slime blob"
that will represent you on the screen (smaller slime are faster). To go back to a previous screen at
any time, click "Return."
Keyboard Controls
One Player: Move Left -- Left Arrow; Move Right -- Right Arrow;
Jump: Up Arrow; Use Powerup: Down Arrow.
Second Player: Move Left -- A; Move Right -- D; Jump -- W; Use Powerup -- S.
You can change the control keys in the "Options" menu. The "Options" menu also allows you
to add a moving wall above the "net."
To leave a game and return to the main screen, press the "Escape" key. After a game is over,
click anywhere on the field to play again.
Powerups change the game conditions. You can select which ones you want in
a particular game by going to the "Options" menu. Possible choices include making a slime blob
larger or smaller, temporarily introducing a vertical or horizontal wall, becoming invisible, or
slowing down.
During a game, square droplets rain down on the playing slime blobs. If a ball strikes a
droplet, a Powerup becomes available to the player (displayed at the bottom
of the screen), depending on the symbol shown in the droplet. Use the appropriate key to
activate an available Powerup at any time during a game.
The "Settings" menu allows you to adjust: the frequency with which random Powerup droplets fall
during a game, the number of points required to win (between 1 and 15), and the amount of gravity
(how fast the ball falls).
